Sallie Bongaardt of Springfield, PA was elected to a three-year term as representative for the National Advisory Council at Comfort Keepers, one of the top senior care franchises. Bongaardt was chosen from more than 600 Comfort Keepers’ franchisees throughout the country and will be one of 13 members on the Council.
Each elected member will have the responsibility to listen and understand the perspectives and needs of fellow Comfort Keepers’ owners in their region. They will be instrumental in working with both the corporate headquarters and the local franchises to maintain unity in the franchising system.
Sallie Bongaardt is known around town for her ongoing involvement in the community and assisting families by providing a host of caregiving services including: companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, transportation and more.
“Helping members of the community is one of the primary reasons I became a franchisee for Comfort Keepers,” Bongaardt said. “With this new honor, I am fortunate to be able to communicate thoughts and ideas within the Comfort Keepers system to help continue to improve our client services across the country.” Her three-year term began on January 1, 2014.
