Post holiday blues: my senior loved one is declining Springfield King of Prussia PA

If you visited an elderly loved one this holiday season you may have noticed loss of weight, forgetfulness, confusion and other behavior that concerns you.

If so, you are not alone. Many relatives have contact with aging loved one over the phone and are told by that loved one yes I am eating, no there is no problem in the house. When you visit for the holiday you discover a whole different story.

There is expired food in the refrigerator or maybe the washer is broke but that doesn’t matter because you notice there is only two items of clothing in hamper when there should be quite a bit more.

If you are concerned about anything you saw at an elderly loved one’s home this holiday season, give Comfort Keepers a call and we can help find a resource to help your aging loved one.
