Attend a free class on Understanding Dementia and get some practical tips for dealing with the behaviors that can be difficult. The class is free to attend and is being taught by Melody McHugh of Comfort Keepers. Melody has been in healthcare for over 20 years and has spent almost half of her professional career working with senior citizens and their families. Below is the information regarding the classes. Dementia: Understanding the Disease and
Practical Solutions for Difficult Behaviors

Class will provide information on dementia and the
progression of the illness. You will also learn suggestions
and practical ideas for how to deal with the challenges
associated with dementia. Whether you or someone you
know is suffering from dementia the class will be helpful
in understanding it and how to deal with the illness.

Caregiver Stress
Melody McHugh – Comfort Keepers
The class will help you learn to identify the signs and
symptoms of stress that caregivers may experience.
You will also learn how stress affects caregivers’ health
and suggestions on how to decrease or eliminate
some stress.
